I am originally from Gloucestershire, England. I graduated from Gloucestershire College with a degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE). I moved to the United States in 1984. I have been working in ECE for almost 30 years, 18 of those at the Director level. I started working at The Midlothian Kids Academy in January 2017. Before this, I was the Director for The University of Virginia Child Development Centers – Earhart and Copeley buildings for 7 years.
I enjoy the challenge of creating a first class Early Childhood Education Program. I will be upholding those standards on a daily basis and empowering my team to exceed expectations. I am excited to create great relationships with our family members at The Midlothian Kids Academy.
My husband and I have two daughters Ashley and Kim. Kim is married to Nick and we have our granddaughter Morgan. Our dog Tigger completes our family. Away from work I enjoy spending time at home with my family and friends. And enjoying my hobbies of reading and Knitting.
